Dominique Kayigire has been named responsible sourcing manager at the blockchain platform for minerals Minexx to help the firm safeguard mineral supply chains from the mine to the point where they are utilized in electrical devices.
He comes to Minexx with over ten years of previous expertise in mineral traceability, compliance, and responsible sourcing as the Rwanda national manager for RCS Global Group and managing and administering mineral due diligence and traceability programs.
Kayigire will be in charge of driving Minexx’s blockchain-based compliance and traceability solution and executing Minexx’s code of conduct governance processes.
Minexx will be able to preserve its reputation for developing transparent end-to-end supply chains while also ensuring that it fulfills market norms and expectations in various locations.
Kayigire’s depth of expertise and first-hand understanding of working in Sub-Saharan Africa, according to Minexx CEO and co-founder Marcus Scaramanga, is very valuable to the firm. It also shows that they are continuing to expand their skills to fulfill demand following their well-thought-out plan.

Minexx thinks that something can be done to promote fair trade and transparent value chains as well as governments, the environment, merchants, technology businesses, and consumers, according to Scaramanga.
Kayigire enters Minexx during a time of fast expansion, as demand for minerals such as cobalt, copper, tin, and tungsten rises in tandem with rising renewable energy consumption and growing hunger for innovative technologies.
Minexx, a worldwide blockchain network, promotes commerce and compliance, benefiting miners, smelters, merchants, technology businesses, and governments while directly touching 10 of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Kayigire says he’s excited to engage with local rural communities to help revolutionize an industry and build sustainable communities vital to Sub-Saharan Africans’ lives.
“The ability to trace where our minerals are from will have a huge positive impact for communities and their sustainable prosperity and for industry and consumers.”
