Betty Wu (), a Taiwanese author, podcaster, and personal finance expert has offered some tips on managing the cryptocurrency market fluctuations.

Wu says she’d rather purchase more Bitcoin than sell her current holdings after the digital currency’s price has plummeted in recent days. Bitcoin dropped below US$43,000 (NT$1,192,356) at one point, dropping more than 17% of its value in only 24 hours.

As per a TVBS report, Wu wrote a message on her Facebook page explaining how various investors perceive the dip. Many crypto doubters feel this is an indication that the asset is inherently weak, while others who believe in Bitcoin’s long-term development view this as an excellent opportunity to join the market, according to her.

Wu seemed to be firmly in the hopeful camp.  “Of course I have Bitcoin, and of course I will not sell it off,” she stated. “What I am considering actually is to buy a little more!”

Wu acknowledges that Bitcoin is volatile, calling it the greatest rollercoaster in the investing world right now, but believes it is also the future of finance. Wu claims to have purchased Bitcoin, but just around half of a coin remains.

According to her, retail investors curious about the new de-fi trends might select for a monthly dollar-cost-averaging investment plan. This manner, people may avoid borrowing money or reducing their everyday living expenses.

Wu compares investors to leeks, claiming that even though they are chopped back at times, as long as their roots are firm, they may enjoy significant growth when spring arrives.
